Suzuka's East Course is a compact 2.24 km layout utilizing the circuit's eastern section, featuring 9 flowing corners that reward smooth, precise driving over raw speed. Originally developed as an alternative layout for testing and lower-category racing, this configuration strips away the infamous 130R and first sector complexity, offering a more technical, intimate racing experience. Its tight, interconnected turns make it an excellent training ground for racecraft and car control before tackling the full Grand Prix circuit.
